The Child Study Center is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Directions. The Child Study Center is located on the Penn State University Park campus in University Support Building I, 820 North University Drive.

Parking. The Child Study Center has meters in front of the building for visitor use. Metered rates are 15 minutes for $.25, and have an 8 hour time limit. Meters are in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Penn State parking permit holders need to park in the Orange A open lot next to the building.
Campus Shuttle. Child Study Center is accessible from main campus via the Campus Shuttle. Hours of operation range from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with service every 15 minutes weekdays Monday through Friday. The Campus Shuttle map and schedule is now available online, as well as at the HUB and Kern information desks, on all shuttle buses, and at the desks in the residence-hall area commons buildings. The Child Study Center in University Support Building I is at stop number 19. The Campus Shuttle does not run on weekends or during holidays. Facility. The Child Study Center is a facility of approximately 7,500 square feet located in University Support Services Building I on University Drive Extension of the University Park campus of Penn State. Transportation between the Child Study Center and the remainder of the Department of Psychology (located roughly a mile and a half away) is facilitated by a Child Study Center Van, available for use by faculty, staff and graduate students, and by the Penn State Campus Shuttle. The Child Study Center includes a waiting room for children and families participating in research, an office for an administrative assistant and receptionist, faculty offices, a conference room, additional meeting room, workrooms, computers, one large room for group therapy and observation, and a series of smaller observation rooms. Both large and small observation rooms are connected to core control rooms that allow observation and videotaping of multiple rooms simultaneously.
