The Child and Adolescent Service of the Psychological Clinic at Penn State offers clinical services to children and adolescents of the larger community. Clinical faculty, staff, and graduate students all work together to provide children and youth quality mental health services.
Dr. Brian Rabian, Director of the Psychological Clinic, oversees the administration of services, provides training to child clinical graduate students, and works with community leaders to improve the services, and therefore, the lives of children and youth in the surrounding community. Dr. Michael Wolff serves as a Community Liaison.
Other child clinical faculty members take turns in providing practica and supervision to graduate students. Faculty have expertise in cognitive-behavioral interventions, behavior therapy, family therapy, school-based consultation, and early assessment and intervention of children under age 5 years.
Child clinical graduate students provide services to the community as part of their doctoral training. They are all supervised by faculty with special expertise in the problems of children, youth, and families.
